All work shall be done in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and in coordination with the 436 FSS DOVER AFB. Background The contract is issued by the Dover Air Force Base, which aims to enhance safety and operational efficiency through the installation and maintenance of a Wrong Way Detection System (WWDS). The goal of this contract is to ensure that the WWDS is installed according to manufacturer specifications and operates effectively within the Air Force Network. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: provide all labor, personnel, tools, parts, supervision, and items necessary to inspect, repair, and install a WWDS. The contractor will install systems at four designated locations: - Bldg. 330/Main Gate - Bldg. 803/Housing Gate - Bldg. 105/CVI - Bldg. 640/North Gate. Each system must notify on-duty Security Forces (SFS) with sound annunciation. The contractor will ensure that all existing equipment is removed and replaced with new infrastructure provided by the contracted company. They will also be responsible for repairing any disturbed surfaces (concrete, grass, asphalt) to their original or better condition. Training will be provided for four individuals on system use and troubleshooting. Documentation required for obtaining Authority to Operate (ATO) must be submitted to the Installation Security office (ISS). Maintenance responsibilities include responding to system failures categorized as catastrophic, major malfunctions, or partial failures with specified response times. Quarterly Preventative Maintenance Inspections are required at all fielded locations with reports drafted for the Security Forces representative. Period of Performance Base year for installation plus four one-year option years for maintenance. Place of Performance Dover Air Force Base.
