Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Southwestern Native Aquatic Resources and Recovery Center in Dexter, NM, is seeking to upgrade its internal building wiring. The goal of this contract is to re-wire five buildings on site that currently have outdated and damaged internal wiring using CAT 3 cabling. The project aims to enhance the infrastructure by upgrading everything to meet current construction standards of CAT 6a. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: - Remove existing internal building wiring that does not meet current standards. - Install new CAT 6a cabling throughout five buildings on the site. - Ensure all work complies with applicable construction standards and regulations as outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Period of Performance The contract period of performance is from May 18, 2026, to November 17, 2026. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the USFWS Southwestern Native Aquatic Resources and Recovery Center located at 7116 Hatchery Road, Dexter, NM 88230-9608.
