Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing a contract for the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument (ORPI) to replace HVAC units at various locations within the monument. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation of HVAC systems in facilities that support park operations and visitor services. This project is part of the NPS's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve infrastructure within national parks. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the demolition, removal, and installation of new HVAC units at multiple locations within ORPI. Specific tasks include: - Replacement of HVAC units with in-kind units at the Maintenance Shop Building, Campground Ranger Station, Maintenance Office Building, Welding Shop, Smith Building, Resource Offices #1 and #2, Mechanic Shop Office, and Utility Office. - The work must adhere to attached product/project specifications and descriptions. - A 'Brand Name or equal' requirement applies to several items as specified in the solicitation. Period of Performance The contract period of performance is from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument located at 10 Organ Pipe Drive, Ajo, AZ 85321.
