Background The National Park Service (NPS) requires the replacement and modernization of hydronic heating systems in several residential housing units located at Katmai National Park & Preserve in King Salmon, Alaska. The existing heating systems are aging and need replacement to improve reliability, serviceability, and operational efficiency. This contract aims to provide complete replacement of existing hydronic heating equipment and installation of new heating system components necessary for reliable space heating and domestic hot water service. Work Details The work includes the following tasks: - Removal and disposal of existing boiler equipment and associated mechanical components. - Installation of new oil-fired hydronic boiler systems. - Installation of indirect domestic hot water systems. - Installation of new pumps, manifolds, valves, and system accessories. - Integration with existing hydronic heating distribution systems. - System flushing, cleaning, and treatment. - Startup, testing, and commissioning of each mechanical system.
