Background The 88th Communications Squadron at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base requires the relocation of a critical power asset, Power Distribution Unit (PDU) 9. This project is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and reliability of power distribution within the facility. The contract aims to ensure that the relocation is conducted safely and effectively, adhering to all necessary standards and regulations. Work Details The contractor will perform the following tasks: 1) Decommission and Prepare Site: Safely remove PDU 28 from Room 128A and relocate it to the designated storage cage in Room 145, leaving existing power tails in place for future use. 2) Relocate PDU 9 and Associated Stand: Move PDU 9 from Room 134 to Room 128A, including reinstallation of its equipment stand. 3) Subfloor and Flooring System Restoration: Ensure structural integrity of the raised-floor system at both locations, including installation of necessary subfloor infrastructure and modification of floor tiles. 4) Reinstallation and Power Connectivity: Install new wiring in existing conduit between rooms and reconnect power tails to PDU 9 ensuring proper phasing. 5) Labeling and Documentation: Provide documentation mapping power tail locations to breaker locations, ensuring clear labeling of PDUs with their respective power sources. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from May 27, 2026, to August 18, 2026. Place of Performance All work will be conducted at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
