Background The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey is seeking potential sources for CCS#89348 - Exterior Door Replacements in Rainelle, WV (WV035). The goal of this contract is to address the disrepair of existing exterior personnel doors at the PFC Ralph E. Pomeroy USARC facility, which have become a safety concern due to structural issues and pest entry. Work Details The project involves the removal and replacement of designated existing exterior personnel doors at the facility. Key tasks include: - Replacing all exterior doors listed in Technical Exhibit #1, inclusive of frames and hardware; - Ensuring all new doors are direct replacements in design and size; - Maintaining fire ratings equal to or greater than original doors; - Replacing all original door hardware with like-kind commercial grade hardware; - Filling voids/gaps with insulation and caulking; - Ensuring door swing directions remain the same; - Providing material and labor for caulking frame to building joints; - Priming and painting all new doors with specified coatings; and - Ensuring ADA compliance for all replacement hardware. The contractor must also conduct a pre-construction meeting to discuss procedures, verify measurements, and provide a detailed cost proposal including narratives and breakdowns of new versus reused items. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the PFC Ralph E. Pomeroy USARC facility located in Rainelle, West Virginia.
