Background The contract is issued by the 180th Fighter Wing, which is part of the Air National Guard. The mission of this wing includes providing air defense and support operations. The goal of this contract is to replace the existing oversized air compressor in Building 112, which has been causing higher wear and maintenance costs due to short cycling. The new compressor will be relocated to optimize space for additional equipment. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to replace the Air Compressor in Building 112. This includes: - Removal and disposal of the old air compressor and associated air drier. - Capping or terminating any no longer required piping or electrical components. - Purchase and installation of a new dual head compressor and drier capable of a minimum of 75 SCFM at 100 PSI, with the capability of reaching a minimum of 175 PSI. - Relocation of the compressor to the electrical/mechanical room. - Connection of all piping and electrical equipment to ensure operational functionality. - Provision of all labor, equipment, tools, appliances, transportation, materials, disposal services, and documentation associated with the project. Period of Performance The Period of Performance shall be 60 days after contract award date. Place of Performance The performance will take place at Building 112 located at 2660 S. Eber Rd., Swanton, OH 43558.
