Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for grounds and landscaping maintenance services at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) located in Princeton, Oregon. The goal of this contract is to ensure the upkeep and aesthetic quality of the refuge's grounds, aligning with the agency's mission to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive grounds and landscaping maintenance services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). This includes but is not limited to: - Regular mowing - Trimming - Weeding - Planting - Mulching - Other landscape management tasks necessary to maintain a clean and attractive environment at Malheur NWR. The contract includes options for multiple years of service, allowing for continuity in maintenance efforts. Specific tasks may include seasonal planting and care of native species, maintenance of existing landscapes, and ensuring compliance with sustainable practices as required by federal guidelines. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will begin on April 1, 2026, and extend through September 30, 2030. This includes option years that may extend the contract through September 30 of each subsequent year until 2030. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge located at 36391 Sodhouse Lane, Princeton, OR 97721-9502.
