Background The Red Clay Consolidated School District, in collaboration with the Colonial School District, is seeking proposals for Speech Language Therapy Services. This initiative aims to enhance the educational support provided to students requiring speech and language assistance, aligning with the districts' commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Work Details The contractor will provide comprehensive Speech Language Therapy Services, which may include but are not limited to: individual and group therapy sessions, assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language needs, development of individualized education plans (IEPs), collaboration with teachers and parents to implement strategies that support student communication skills, and documentation of progress and outcomes. The services should be tailored to meet the specific needs of students within the Red Clay Consolidated School District. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue through the academic year, with specific dates to be determined based on the school calendar. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various schools within the Red Clay Consolidated School District located in Delaware. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be licensed Speech Language Pathologists in the State of Delaware. They must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation is required. Additionally, bidders must have a valid Delaware business license prior to contract execution.
