Background The Red Clay Consolidated School District, in collaboration with the Colonial School District, is seeking proposals for Occupational Therapy Services. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary therapeutic services to students within the district to support their educational and developmental needs. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services that may include, but are not limited to: assessment of students' needs, development of individualized therapy plans, direct therapy sessions with students, collaboration with teachers and parents, and documentation of progress. The services should be tailored to meet the specific needs of each student as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). The contractor must ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to occupational therapy practices. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for a period of one year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations within the Red Clay Consolidated School District and Colonial School District facilities. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be licensed occupational therapists in the State of Delaware. They must also provide proof of liability insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation documents. Additionally, bidders should demonstrate experience working with school-aged children and familiarity with IEP processes.
