Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for the installation of an in-ground water pump at the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) located in Yuma, Arizona. The purpose of this contract is to replace a failed water pump that is critical for supporting refuge operations, ensuring reliable water delivery for government facilities and assets. Work Details The contractor shall furnish and install a new in-ground water pump system, which includes: - a submersible pump (S.E.I. 6” 90GPM, 3 HP, 230V, 3-wire) - a pump control box with overload protection - new drop pipe - pitless adapter - electrical wiring and conduit to code - a new pressure switch and check valve - proper sealing of the well casing per Arizona Department of Water Resources standards - testing and commissioning of the complete system to ensure proper flow, pressure, and electrical safety. The contractor must be a licensed and bonded water well/pump installation contractor in Arizona with demonstrated experience installing in-ground water pumping systems.
