Background The Red Clay Consolidated School District, in collaboration with the Colonial School District, is seeking proposals for Behavior Support Services, specifically for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). The goal of this contract is to provide specialized behavioral support services to students within the districts, enhancing their educational experience and addressing behavioral challenges effectively. Work Details The contractor will be required to provide the following services: 1. Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for students exhibiting challenging behaviors. 2. Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results. 3. Provide direct behavioral support services to students as outlined in their IEPs or 504 plans. 4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions across settings. 5. Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management strategies and techniques. 6. Monitor and report on student progress towards behavioral goals and make necessary adjustments to interventions as needed. Period of Performance The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability. Place of Performance Services will be performed within the schools of the Red Clay Consolidated School District and Colonial School District located in Delaware. Bidder Requirements Bidders must hold valid certifications as a BCBA or RBT, possess relevant experience in providing behavior support services in an educational setting, and comply with all local licensing requirements. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of liability insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation documents.
