Summary (Newest Update)

Background The 5th Contracting Squadron at Minot AFB, ND, is issuing a requirement for the procurement of surveillance cameras for the Special Access Facility (SAF). The goal of this contract is to establish performance-based requirements for the delivery and installation of a door surveillance system that enhances observation and situational awareness. This initiative follows the remodeling of the SAF, during which all previous camera systems were removed, necessitating the installation of new systems to replace end-of-life (EOL) equipment and improve visibility at entry and exit points. Work Details The contractor is tasked with providing all resources necessary to design, install, configure, and test a complete camera system in the SAF, including a main monitoring station in room 121K. The system must be reliable, secure, and compliant with base infrastructure and cybersecurity requirements. Key specifications include: - Installation of 3 vandal-proof 8 MP cameras at pre-approved locations outside secure entrances. - A CCTV system comprising: - 4 Port PoE+ NVR - 1 HDD (Hard Drive) - 1 equipment enclosure - 3 dome style 4K IP autofocus cameras with mounting back boxes - Power conditioning, surge protection, and uninterrupted power supply - 3 TAA compliant Samsung display monitors (32 inches) - All components must not integrate into existing DOD network IT systems but function as a stand-alone monitoring system. Additional deliverables include an operational surveillance system with installed cameras, a central monitoring system with viewing capabilities, installation diagrams for government records, admin credentials, training for security staff, warranty documentation (minimum one year), and project sign-off upon successful inspection. Period of Performance The period of performance shall not exceed 120 calendar days from the date of award. Onsite work should not exceed 10 duty days. Place of Performance Minot AFB, ND
