This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Subpart 12.202 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W50S8A26QA008 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238120 Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors, a small business size standard of $19,000,000. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business, and only qualified vendors may submit quotes. The solicitation will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 22 May 2026, 04:00PM. Eastern Time. Provide and install three (3) C-channel steel beams under the equipment housekeeping slab by welding, as detailed in Attachment 1, to the existing Wide Flange beams. Background The NH Air National Guard is seeking to enhance the structural integrity of the mechanical mezzanine located at Building 254. This project aims to address issues arising from recent renovations where equipment was found to exceed the design capacity of the mezzanine slab. The goal of this contract is to provide and install additional structural support in the form of C-channel steel beams to mitigate stress on the existing slab. Work Details The contractor is required to provide and install three (3) C-channel steel beams under the equipment housekeeping slab by welding them to the existing Wide Flange beams. The specific requirements include: - CLIN 0001: Provide and install three (3) C-channel steel beams (C6x8.2) under the equipment housekeeping slab, as detailed in Attachment 1. - The first beam will be located directly under the center of the hydro-pneumatic tank, with two additional beams offset two feet on center to support the remaining pad. - All work must conform to AWS D1.1:2025 standards, ensuring proper fitment, surface preparation, and professional installation.
