Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this contract for the purpose of performing maintenance work at Surry Mountain Lake, Surry, NH. The mission of the agency includes ensuring the safety and functionality of infrastructure projects such as dams and access roads. The goal of this contract is to enhance the condition of the dam access road, parking areas, and walkways through crack sealing and seal coating, adhering to New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) standards. Work Details The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for preparing, crack sealing, and applying two coats of Polymer-Modified Asphalt Emulsion sealant to the following areas: 1. Dam access road 2. Four parking areas 3. A walkway at Surry Mountain Lake. All work must comply with NHDOT standards. The existing conditions indicate that the dam access road was paved in 2008 and is approximately 2,800 feet long with varying widths from 16 to 21 feet. The road sees light traffic, with certain sections designated for walk-in access only. The contractor is responsible for verifying measurements and ensuring that no work is performed on weekends or government holidays.
