Background The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Installation Support Division, Fort Riley, Kansas, is issuing this solicitation for Catholic Priest Services at Fort Bliss, Texas. This combined synopsis/solicitation is set aside 100% for small businesses. The goal of the contract is to provide religious services to military personnel and their families at Fort Bliss. Work Details The contractor will provide Catholic Priest Services which include: 1) Providing a resume to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) indicating that the Priest is an ordained Catholic Priest by the Roman Catholic Church and endorsed by the Archdiocese of Military Services (AMS) prior to contract start of performance. 2) Providing written proof of faculties for all personnel performing services, along with a completed background check consistent with procedures per DoDI 1402.5. 3) Complying with policies defined in the Minimum Requirements for the Pastoral Care of Catholic Personnel as published by AMS. 4) Ensuring all priests are 'in good standing' with their diocese or religious order and providing documentation prior to rendering services. 5) Providing documentation that each priest has completed 'Virtus' training mandated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops before ministering to children.
