Background The State of Nevada, Office of the Military, is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) services. The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable backup power systems for critical applications across various facilities. The selected contractor will support projects involving installation, maintenance, and repair of UPS systems. Work Details The contractor will provide comprehensive UPS services including: - Assessment of existing UPS installations - Evaluation of performance and battery health - Recommendations for upgrades or replacements - Installation of new UPS units tailored to specific load requirements - Integration with existing electrical systems - Installation of transfer switches and control wiring - Regular inspections and preventative maintenance - Battery testing and replacement as needed - Emergency repair services for unexpected failures - Load testing and performance analysis - Training for facility staff on operation and maintenance of UPS systems - Provision of detailed documentation such as service reports and compliance certificates. All work must adhere to applicable industry standards and safety regulations. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon approval by the Clerk of the Board/Board of Examiners and is expected to last until approximately October 31, 2030. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations including Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno (Stead area), Carson City, Elko (Carlin area). Geographical locations must be specified in the bid proposal. Bidder Requirements Bidders must possess a valid Nevada Business License and a Nevada Contractor's License. They are required to provide proof of Commercial General Liability insurance, Commercial Auto insurance, and Workers Compensation insurance as specified in the solicitation documents. Additionally, bidders must complete a Personal Security Questionnaire for all personnel working on site.
