Background The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), specifically the U.S. Border Patrol Headquarters (USBP), is responsible for providing All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) to specialized units tasked with patrolling and securing the borders of the United States. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather market information regarding viable sources for procuring a total of 285 ATVs, which will support various CBP sectors across the nation. Work Details The contractor shall provide all necessary resources for the purchase, handling, shipping, and delivery of 285 ATVs, including specific models from Yamaha as follows: - 152 units of Yamaha Grizzly 700 - 74 units of Yamaha Kodiak 700 - 45 units of Yamaha Kodiak 450 - 14 units of Yamaha Raptor 700. The contractor is responsible for program management, which includes risk management, testing, and quality assurance. Additionally, the contractor must test and certify all equipment prior to delivery and provide documentation such as operations manuals and equipment specifications. The ATVs must meet specified general characteristics including engine specifications, power steering capabilities, suspension details, and braking systems. Upgrades such as heavy-duty brush guards and aluminum skid plates are required for certain models. Delivery will include operation and maintenance manuals or DVDs. Period of Performance Deliveries are expected to begin within 90 days after receipt of award and must be completed within 365 days after receipt of award.
