Solar Powered Trailers

The Township of Irvington is inviting sealed bids for solar-powered trailers. Bids will be received in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building on Wednesday, May 06, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. prevailing local time. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read. Detailed requests for bids can be obtained from the Finance and Revenue Department, Division of Purchasing, located in the Municipal Building, Room 203, one Civic Square, Irvington, NJ 07111, during business hours from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a non-refundable cost of $50.00 per bid packet to cover printing and administrative expenses. Checks should be made payable to the Township of Irvington. The Proposal Form must be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Guarantee Bid Bond, along with a Certification from a Surety Company for 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will need to provide a Surety Performance Bond in the full amount of the contract. Bidders must submit the original and four copies of the bid package. The Proposal Form must also include a properly executed non-collusion affidavit. Bids should be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the name of the Bidder. Bids can be submitted by mail or delivered in person at the specified date and time. Bids sent by mail must arrive before the deadline and should be addressed to the Office of Municipal Clerk, Township of Irvington, Municipal Building, One Civic Square, Room 116, Irvington, New Jersey 07111. Bidders must comply with various legal provisions, including wage regulations on Public Works, Equal Employment Opportunity Act requirements, and must submit a list of stockholders or partners owning more than 10% interest in their Corporation or Partnership. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days following the bid opening without the Township's consent.
