Sealed bids will be received by the Township of Irvington, NJ. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building on Wednesday, May 06, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. prevailing local time or soon thereafter as possible at which time they will be publicly opened and read for: Pothole Repair for Various Township Street. Detailed requests for bids may be obtained from the Finance and Revenue Department, Division of Purchasing, Municipal Building, Room 203 one Civic Square, Irvington, NJ 07111, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There will be a non-refundable cost of $50.00 per bid packet to cover the cost of printing and administrative expenses. Checks are to be made payable to the Township of Irvington. The Proposal Form shall be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Guarantee Bid Bond and a Certification from a Surety Company in the amount of 10% (ten percent) of the bid. Check or Surety Company Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Township of Irvington, NJ. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Surety Performance Bond on a statutory form in the full amount of the contract or purchase order. Original and 4 copies of bid package are required. The Proposal Form shall also be accompanied by a properly executed non-collusion affidavit. Proposal is to be enclosed in a sealed envelope and distinctly show the name of the Bidder and marked on the outside: Pothole Repair for Various Township Street. Bids will be accepted by mail or may be delivered or presented at the date and time set at the place herein listed above. Bids sent by mail must be received prior to the time set for receiving bids and should be brought to the Township Clerk's Office, in the Municipal Building, Room 116 or mailed to: Office of Municipal Clerk, Township of Irvington, Municipal Building, One Civic Square, Room 116 Irvington, New Jersey 07111. Bidders are also required to comply with other provisions of Law including, but not limited to, the requirements of: N.J.S.A. 34-11-56.25 regulating wages on Public Works, with the Equal Employment Opportunity Act Requirement of P.L. 1975 C127, and N.J.A.C. 17-27 Affirmative Action and with the requirements of P.L. 1977 C33 regarding the submission of a list of all Stockholders or Partners owning more than 10% stock or interest in their Corporation or Partnership. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the Township of Irvington. The Municipal Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids due to any defects or for not adhering to the Specification or for any reason or to waive informalities and accept any bid that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the Township. The Municipal Council reserves the right to sever and make awards of all or parts of any bids to one or more bidders.
