Summary (Newest Update)

Background The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking to enhance the capabilities of its Operations unit by upfitting two 2025 Ford Explorer Interceptors. This initiative is part of the agency's commitment to ensuring effective force protection and operational readiness. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Install NGA Police Emblems on both the passenger and driver sides of each vehicle, as well as on the rear hatch area and roof numbering, using Signs at Work for the emblems. 2. Install headlight and taillight flashers that include integrated lights with plug-in connectors, a single flash pattern, high beam override, and built-in shutdown protection against loss of ground, short circuit, and under voltage. The housing must be durable and non-corrosive ABS plastic. 3. Mount two perimeter red and blue lights under each side door above the side steps to enhance visibility. These lights should allow for installation as running board lights or push bumper lights, featuring aluminum housing that is sealed to prevent corrosion and water ingress. They should have 10 flash patterns including dim and steady burn override, be IP67 rated for dust and water resistance, and have a temperature range from -40°F to 170°F. 4. Provide a compact speaker kit designed to fit behind the front grill, compatible with all Code 3 sirens, featuring high-efficiency speakers. 5. Install an Excel siren with a microphone. 6. Provide a wide body console with dual cup holders and an upper armrest structure. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a five-year ordering period starting from May 19, 2026, through May 18, 2031. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the NGA Office of Force Protection East located in Springfield, VA.
