Background The State of Nevada, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) is seeking proposals for janitorial services at the Hawthorne District Office. This rural office spans approximately 1,723 square feet. The goal of this contract is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility to support the agency's mission of serving Nevada and supporting the community. Work Details The selected vendor will provide comprehensive janitorial services as outlined in Attachment A, Scope of Work, Custodial Requirements and Specifications. This includes regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining overall cleanliness in all areas of the office. The vendor must also adhere to specific cleaning schedules and standards set forth by the State. Period of Performance The contract will be for a four-year period beginning upon approval from the Board of Examiners. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the Hawthorne District Office located at 1000 C Street, Hawthorne, Nevada. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be appropriately licensed by the State of Nevada Secretary of State’s Office. Current or former State employees cannot perform services related to this contract. Additionally, vendors are required to submit a Certificate of Insurance and their Nevada Business License Number with their proposals.
