Background

The National Park Service Contracting Operations (ConOps) Central, Nekota Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing an Invitation for Bid for a Replacing fencing at Theodore Roosevelt National Park South Unit. The acquisition will be conducted using Invitation for Bids (IFB)/Sealed Bid process. Work Details: Providing all materials, equipment and labor to remove approximately 7450 linear feet of existing boundary fence and replace with new fence constructed. New fence shall consist of galvanized steel round posts with shop prepared thru-holes to receive tie wire, high strength woven wire mesh rolled fencing as manufacturer recommended for cattle and bison livestock uses, varied gauges of wire for tying off mesh and H-brace assemblies, 3/8 steel aircraft cabling, and 2 steel framed and hinged permanent gate structures. All materials listed define the salient characteristics of the minimum level of performance to be provided by respective materials. Period of Performance: Work shall be completed within 320 calendar days of the start date provided on the Notice to Proceed. This period shall include any required adverse winter weather break periods in the work, including an anticipated on-site work winter stoppage beginning approximately mid-November and resume late March or earlier based on seasonal conditions and government approval.
