Background The USDA National Centers for Animal Health (NCAH) in Ames, IA, is seeking repairs to Hoop Buildings H1, H2, H3, H4, H5 & H6 due to damage caused by windstorms. The goal of the contract is to restore the integrity of these structures and ensure their continued functionality through necessary repairs and inspections. Work Details The contractor shall provide all materials and labor for the following repairs: - **Hoop Building H1**: Remove existing East end cover; install new end cover with PVC and related components; replace exterior door; patch holes in top membrane; replace weather stripping on overhead doors; replace damaged vertical metal wall siding panels; replace metal corner covers; replace wood blocks behind winch assembly; install new gravel bed around building; inspect building straps and provide repair report. - **Hoop Building H2**: Replace wood blocks behind winch assembly; replace damaged vertical metal wall siding panels; replace metal corner covers; inspect building straps and provide repair report. - **Hoop Building H3**: Remove existing end and top covers; install new covers with PVC and related components; replace weather stripping on overhead doors; replace damaged vertical metal wall siding panels and corners; inspect building straps and provide repair report. - **Hoop Building H4**: Replace damaged vertical metal wall siding panels; inspect building straps and provide repair report. - **Hoop Building H5**: Install new top cover with PVC and related components; inspect building straps and provide repair report. - **Hoop Building H6**: Install new saddle brackets and hardware for overhead door support; replace exterior door; replace damaged vertical metal wall siding panels; inspect building straps and provide repair report.
