Background The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division DPW to procure Grounds Maintenance Services. The goal of this contract is to maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants while presenting a clean, neat, and professional appearance at the Scranton Armed Forces Reserve Center located at 3401 Olyphant Avenue, Scranton, PA 18509-1100. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and other items necessary to deliver grounds maintenance services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor is responsible for maintaining healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants. Specific tasks include: - Mowing (16 times) - Trimming (8 times) - Maintaining retention ponds (3 times) - Weeding/planting bed maintenance (8 times). All services must comply with local, state and federal regulations. Quality control measures must be implemented to ensure compliance with the contract standards. Period of Performance The contract will have a base period of 12 months with four optional 12-month periods following the initial term.
