Background The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notice (SSN) to identify firms capable of providing technical support and recommendations for refreshing the Multiplexed Bus Interface 2 (MBI-2). The SSP is a major weapons systems command within the U.S. Navy, focusing on strategic weapons systems. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the MBI-2 remains operational and effective by identifying and qualifying components, delivering an obsolescence refresh program plan, and providing necessary technical documentation. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks related to the MBI-2 Refresh: 1. Deliver monthly Financial Status Reports. 2. Provide the first submittal of the Obsolescence Refresh Program Plan. 3. Conduct quarterly in-progress reviews. 4. Deliver a Technical Data Package (TDP) for the first-year scope as documented in the program plan. 5. Provide a Final Report documenting in-progress reviews and TDP status. The contract type is Cost Plus Fixed Fee, with an emphasis on technical recommendations and adherence to applicable Ordnance Directives (ODs) and Technical Program Management processes.
