Background The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (FS), Intermountain Region Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Supervisor’s Office, requires janitorial services for their office building occupied by Forest Service employees. The goal of this contract is to maintain a clean and professional environment within the Supervisor's Office located in Sparks, NV. Work Details The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that janitorial services are performed at the Forest Service office located at 1200 Franklin Way, Sparks, NV. The office consists of approximately 18,000 square feet over two levels and includes two smaller offices totaling about 500 square feet. Services must meet accepted industry standards and include cleaning of restrooms, exterior entrances/staircases (approximately 1,400 square feet of un-carpeted flooring), and windows (14 exterior and approximately 20 interior). The contractor must also provide a complete list of personnel employed under the contract with a designated on-site supervisor within ten days after contract award. A schedule for contracted services must be established for bi-monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual tasks. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for maintaining safety protocols and ensuring that all employees obtain a government-issued LincPass prior to entering the building. Period of Performance The contract will have a base period from May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027, with four optional one-year periods extending through April 30, 2031.
