Background The Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area (NCA) is preparing to open a new visitor contact station in 2026, which will serve as the operational hub and primary gateway to significant cultural and natural resources in southern Nevada. The facility aims to welcome the public, support educational programming, and protect renowned petroglyph sites. To address unique security challenges, a comprehensive security camera system is required to safeguard personnel, federal property, sensitive information, and critical infrastructure. This system will help ensure that the visitor contact station remains an inviting public space while providing security for operations. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary for the installation of an Avigilon network security system at the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area Visitor Contact Station (VCS). The tasks include: 1. Assessing the building and providing a customized plan for the installation of current security camera technology that meets federal standards. 2. Designing and installing a comprehensive security camera system covering interior and exterior spaces including three doors into the VCS, the exterior of the VCS (amphitheater and art wall), parking area, and interior visitor contact/exhibit area from various angles. 3. Ensuring real-time monitoring and recording capabilities with automatic saving for 30 days. 4. Providing detailed functionality reporting and a breakdown of costs for hardware, software, installation, and training expenses. 5. Supplying all necessary equipment and installation supplies. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from May 18, 2026 to September 30, 2026. Place of Performance Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area Visitor Contact Station located in Southern Nevada.
