Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Location of work includes building 7 (Boiler Plant), 9 (Chiller Plant), 24 (Temporary Boiler Plant), East parking lot/loading dock area, and West parking lot/access for project 558-22-152 Replace Boilers at Durham VA Health Care System, Durham, NC. The new boilers are designed as fire tube boilers at 600 HP. Economizers and stacks shall be provided for each boiler. The three boilers will each provide 22,500 pounds per hour of 80 PSIG steam to the site to meet the 45,000 pounds per hour steam flow requirement. All three boilers will have dual fuel burners with Natural Gas as the primary fuel and Fuel Oil 2 as the redundant fuel. The fuel oil also requires a propane tank and air compressor for ignition and atomizing the fuel oil, respectively.
