Background The City of Peoria, Arizona, is seeking qualified contractors to provide custodial maintenance services for its utility, recreation, and municipal operations facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance across various city facilities, aligning with the city's mission to serve its community effectively. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing custodial services that include but are not limited to: - Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, public areas, and other designated spaces; - Emptying trash receptacles; - Dusting surfaces; - Vacuuming carpets; - Mopping floors; - Maintaining supplies in restrooms and kitchens. The contractor must also adhere to all safety regulations and standards set forth by the City of Peoria. Period of Performance The contract will commence on the effective date indicated in the award notice and will continue for a period of two (2) years. There is an option for extension for up to thirty-six (36) months upon mutual agreement. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Peoria, Arizona, specifically at utility, recreation, and municipal operations facilities as designated by the city. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to the contract. They must maintain all necessary licenses and permits required for operation in Arizona.
