The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely with Honeywell International for the ProWatch and MaxPro systems is to maximize electronic security systems and video management system functionality and operability, increase system lifespan, and increase end-user capabilities. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by RFO 12.201-1. For purchases exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The requirements at RFO 12.102 apply to sole-source (including brand-name) acquisitions of commercial products and commercial services conducted pursuant to subpart 12.1. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths). This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice.
