The solicitation is issued by the Army for the procurement of hot weather, flame-resistant combat boots. Work Details: The contractor is required to deliver hot weather, flame-resistant coyote combat boots made according to PD 09-02D, dated April 9, 2024. Each pair of boots must be bar-coded with a 13-digit National Stock Number (NSN) and a 12-digit Universal Product Code (UPC). The bar code must be legible and positioned to avoid damage when packaged. Key specifications include: - Inspection and acceptance at origin (RQ009) - Compliance with DLA packaging requirements (RP001) - Removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies (RQ011) - Retention of supply chain traceability documentation (RQ018) Quality assurance provisions mandate that all items must be free from consumer-type defects such as variations in height, stains, improper color, or any structural issues.
