Work Details The project involves detailed construction tasks including: 1. Replacement of four spherical bearings at the miter gate and hydraulic cylinder connection. 2. Removal and replacement of split spherical bushings, connection pins, associated keeper/retaining plates, and bolts as per design drawings (SK-01, SK-02, SK-03). 3. Following manufacturer-recommended installation procedures for press-fit components to avoid damage; cleaning and inspecting mating surfaces prior to assembly for proper fit and corrosion protection. 4. Providing documentation and calculations for supporting methods during depressurization of the system. 5. Testing gate swing and connection interface by operating gates with Contractor and Government representative present. 6. Scheduling work to minimize disruptions to lock operations with a required four-week notice if operations are halted due to construction.
