Background This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) for the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument (PMNM). The goal of the contract is to provide commercial vessel charter services to support fieldwork, specifically for invasive species removal on Nihoa Island, which is part of the PMNM in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing a vessel capable of extended ocean travel to perform the following tasks: - Transport up to 12 passengers from Oahu, HI to Nihoa Island. - Land personnel and gear on Nihoa Island for field camp operations lasting from 1 to 16 days. - Extract personnel and gear from Nihoa Island and transport them back to Oahu, HI. - Provide room and board for all passengers throughout the duration of the charter. - Ensure compliance with appropriate permits and inspections. - Occasionally transport wildlife and wildlife resources as needed. Period of Performance The contract period of performance is from April 25, 2026, to May 5, 2026.
