Background The contract is issued by the Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB) in Massachusetts, which is part of the United States Air Force. The mission of HAFB includes various engineering and support services. This contract aims to ensure the proper functioning and calibration of water meters critical for facility operations. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, hoses, gauges, test equipment, hearing protection, eye protection (including prescription safety glasses), materials, supplies and parts, transportation, and other incidentals necessary to travel to Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB), MA. The specific tasks include inspecting, testing, and calibrating a total of eighteen (18) water meters located at various sites: twelve (12) meters on HAFB, two (2) meters in the Massport tarmac area, two (2) meters at FamCamp, one (1) meter at the Water Treatment Facility at FamCamp, and one (1) meter on Wood Street in Bedford, MA. Precise locations will be provided at the time of scheduled service. Additionally, the contractor must provide a field test report for each water meter tested within seven (7) days of testing. All services and parts provided under this contract must comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the manufacturer’s equipment specifications.
