Background The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, Warfighter Support Division is issuing a contract for Snow and Ice Removal Services on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division. The mission of this contract is to ensure a clean and safe workplace free of snow and ice at the PVT Sterling L Morelock USARC located in Pittsburgh, PA. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel, and other items necessary to perform snow and ice removal services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor must adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations. Specific tasks include: - Snow and ice removal from parking areas, driveways, gates, sidewalks, pathways, catch basins, hydrants, dumpsters, HVAC units. - Ensuring that all areas are plowed to bare pavement with no trailing windrows left behind. - Maintaining visibility of parking lot curbs and catch basins. - Taking 'before and after' time-stamped pictures of serviced areas for documentation purposes. - Maintaining effective quality control measures to ensure compliance with contract requirements. - Following the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for performance evaluation. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the effective date of award with four additional 12-month option periods.
