Primary Objective

The contractor shall provide fully qualified technicians and all specialized tools to replace six (6) gas control valves suspected of damage from a faulty gas regulator. Questions for discussion: (1) What is the fastest delivery time after award you could provide each of these items? (Please reply citing the delivery time to Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado.) (2) Is there a different NAICS code that would better fit the item(s)? (3) What certifications (if any) are required by the end user to use or install this brand of equipment? (4) Do you have a pre-priced contract vehicle with these items on your schedule? If so, please provide the contract/schedule number for validation. (5) Is a warranty included? If so, what is the standard commercial warranty? What are your extended warranty options? (6) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address, CAGE/DUNS and pre-priced contract vehicle number if applicable. Background This sources sought is issued by Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB) for market research purposes in accordance with RFO Part 10. The goal of this contract is to determine the method of procurement for replacing gas control valves that are suspected to be damaged due to a faulty gas regulator. The Government is not currently seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Work Details The contractor shall provide fully qualified technicians and all specialized tools to replace six (6) gas control valves. The work includes: 1) Reviewing all equipment’s manufacturer Installation and Operation manuals prior to beginning any work. 2) Inspecting and carefully installing all gas valves according to manufacturer’s specifications while avoiding cross-threading connections, using excessive pipe sealant, or applying excessive force during installation. 3) Conducting comprehensive leak checks on all affected equipment and performing a full safety inspection of all gas-fired equipment, including internal components such as burners, gas valves, heat exchangers, and electrical/mechanical parts. 4) Re-commissioning all boilers and water heaters after a full operational test to certify their continued safe operation. 5) Delivering a deficiency report detailing any compromised components or units requiring further attention upon completion of re-commissioning. The contractor must also provide all necessary materials and equipment, including gas control valves, assemblies, fittings, gaskets, valve replacement kits, and specialized tools for re-commissioning units and conducting tests.
