Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for waste collection services at the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge located in Lewistown, Montana. The goal of this contract is to secure a vendor with the necessary technical capability, equipment, and experience to provide solid waste collection services for a base year plus four option years. Work Details The contractor will provide solid waste collection services at two locations: 1) CMR Sand Creek Station, which requires two rear load 4-yard containers emptied every two weeks; 2) Lewistown HQ Office, which requires one 2-cubic yard waste container in front of the office picked up weekly and another 2-cubic yard container behind the gate picked up on an on-call basis only. The contractor must ensure personnel possess the required licensing, OSHA compliant safety training, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Services must comply with the attached Statement of Work and Wage Determination for Fergus County, MT. Quotes will be evaluated based on technical capabilities, price reasonableness, and past performance history. Period of Performance Base Year: June 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027; Option Year 1: June 1, 2027 - May 31, 2028; Option Year 2: June 1, 2028 - May 31, 2029; Option Year 3: June 1, 2029 - May 31, 2030; Option Year 4: June 1, 2030 - May 31, 2031.
