Work Details The contractor will perform annual testing and certification services on the following equipment: 1) LABCONCO XPert Filtered Balance System (1 unit) 2) LABCONCO Protector Downdraft Powder Station (6 units) 3) Air Science DWS 72 (1 unit) 4) Baker Biochem Guard BSC (B2) (4 units) 5) SAS Ductless Fume Hood (7 units) 6) Air Science Safe Search PurAir Ductless (2 units) 7) LABCONCO Protector - Evidence Drying Cabinet (4 units). Testing must comply with NSF/ANSI standards and ISO 17025:2017 requirements. Reports must be provided within thirty days of service completion, detailing results, adjustments made, and pass/fail status. The contractor must notify the Crime Lab immediately if any equipment fails testing. Period of Performance The initial contract term will run from the date of award until April 30, 2027, with four optional one-year extensions available until April 30, 2031. Place of Performance Services will be performed at the County of San Diego Sheriff’s Crime Laboratory located at 5590 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123. Bidder Requirements Contractors must be accredited to ISO 17025:2017 and have experienced technicians trained in the required services. They are also required to provide a DNA sample for contamination identification purposes when entering the Crime Lab. Compliance with all applicable federal and state laws is mandatory.
