Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration is issuing this solicitation for trash services at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive trash collection and recycling services at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. This includes: - Regular collection of refuse from designated locations within the cemetery. - Proper disposal of solid waste in accordance with local regulations. - Implementation of recycling programs to minimize waste sent to landfills. - Maintenance of cleanliness in all areas serviced, including timely response to any overflow or special collection requests. - Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding waste management. Period of Performance The contract will have a base period of one year with four optional one-year extensions, contingent upon performance and funding availability.
