Background The 10th Force Support Squadron (10 FSS) of the United States Air Force Academy is seeking qualified businesses to provide seasonal cleaning services at the Farish Recreation Area, located in Woodland Park, Colorado. This contract aims to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the recreation area during the peak season from May to October each year. Work Details The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and supervision for deep cleaning and quick cleaning services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: - Quick Clean Procedures: - Lodge: Remove and replace linens, restock towels, clean surfaces, vacuum, and empty trash. - Bathrooms: Clean and sanitize tubs, toilets, sinks; deep clean grout; refill soaps; mop floors. - Cottage: Similar tasks as lodge with additional kitchen appliance cleaning. - Lodge Kitchen and Lounge: Clean surfaces, appliances; wash dishes; check light bulbs. - Duplex Units: Replace linens; clean bathrooms; disinfect floors; ensure kitchen cleanliness. - Multipurpose Center (MPC): Clean kitchen areas and bathrooms; ensure supplies are stocked. - Shower Building: Sanitize shower stalls and sinks. - Deep Clean Procedures: Must be completed prior to opening day each season and include thorough cleaning of all areas mentioned above plus additional tasks such as dusting cobwebs and checking light bulbs.
