Background The State of Nevada, Department of Business & Industry, Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for legal courier services in the Las Vegas area. The agency aims to enter into contracts with courier services acting as independent contractors who have experience in meeting various agency needs, including court filings, messenger services, service of process, delivery, pick-up, and special or urgent deliveries. These contracts will be administered by the Nevada Attorney for Injured Workers and are anticipated to commence upon Clerk of the Board's approval for a four-year period. Work Details The contractor will provide legal courier services that include: 1) Court filings (Appeals Office, District, Supreme and Federal); 2) Messenger services; 3) Service of process; 4) Delivery and pick-up; 5) Special or urgent deliveries. The proposal must address the geographic regions served (statewide, rural, northern Nevada, southern Nevada), methods for ordering services (telephone or online), and include documentation such as a copy of the Nevada State Business License, certificate of insurance, applicable city or county business license, contact person for inquiries, three references, company ownership details and length of time in business. Period of Performance The contract is expected to commence upon approval by the Clerk of the Board and will last for a period of four years. Place of Performance Services will primarily be performed in the Las Vegas area. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide: 1) A copy of their Nevada State Business License; 2) A copy of their certificate of insurance; 3) A copy of an applicable city or county business license; 4) Contact person and telephone number for service inquiries; 5) A minimum of three references; 6) Company ownership details and length of time in business; 7) Cost proposal. Additionally, contractors must maintain specific insurance coverage as outlined in Attachment CC.
