Background The requirement is for the procurement and installation of a custom outdoor walk-in refrigeration system at Dyess Air Force Base (AFB), Texas. The mission of this contract is to replace an existing refrigeration unit with a new system that meets operational, durability, and performance requirements necessary for continuous government use. The contract will be issued by the 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS/PKB) under RFQ ID#: FA466126Q0028. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to: - Remove and dispose of the existing walk-in unit. - Deliver a new walk-in refrigeration system consisting of refrigerated, freezer, and dry storage compartments. - Install and fully commission the system to ensure it is fully operational and ready for use. The system includes multiple BTU-rated refrigeration units, doors, partitions, lighting, rain canopy, and anchors. A turnkey solution is required except where specifically identified as Government-Furnished or excluded. Period of Performance The contractor shall deliver within 60 days after contract award.
