Background The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing this procurement for an Ion Chromatograph System to analyze Hexavalent Chromium, specifically designed for use at the Region 7 Science and Technology Center. The goal of this contract is to provide a complete system that meets EPA Method 218.6 and SW-846 methods 7199 & 3060a specifications, enhancing the agency's capabilities in environmental monitoring and analysis. Work Details The vendor shall provide a complete Ion Chromatography system that includes: - Ion Chromatograph (IC), Software, Autosampler - General Specifications: - Designed for analysis of hexavalent chromium according to EPA Method 218.6 and SW-846 Method 7199. - New, current production model only (no refurbished or used instruments). - Includes autosampler, pump/flow unit, guard & analytical columns, post-column reactor, detector, and software. - Initial installation & training provided by the vendor. - Hexavalent Chromium Ion Chromatograph Specifications: - UV Detector at 530nm. - Metal-free complete system flow path, pre-installed. - Guard column with sorbent for removing organics and particles. - High-capacity anion exchange resin separator column for resolving CrO42-. - Post-column reactor compatible with flows from 0 to 2 mL/min. - Pump with variable flow rates from 0.001 to 20 mL/min and accurate flow deviation of max 0.1%. - Leak-detection and auto shutdown capabilities. - Autosampler holding at least 50 test tubes with rinse station. - Software Specifications: - Must meet electronic records control requirements of 21 CFR part 11, installed on an EPA-provided computer, compatible with Windows 11, IT supported with updates, capable of digital export for LIMS data transfer, customizable reports and exports, and compliant with Section 508 Accessibility. Period of Performance The IC system will be delivered within 90 business days of the award being granted, with installation completed within an additional 60 business days.
