Background The USDA Forest Service Fenn Ranger Station, located in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest, has a requirement for janitorial services. The mission of the Forest Service is to manage and protect the nation's forests and grasslands, ensuring they remain healthy and accessible for public use. The goal of this contract is to maintain satisfactory facility conditions at government-owned facilities by providing professional janitorial services. Work Details The contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to perform janitorial services at seven government-owned facilities. The services required include: - Year-Round Services for five buildings: Administration Office, Assessment Office, Fire Office, Visitor Center, and Cookhouse. - Bi-Annual Services for two buildings: Fenn Bunkhouse and Cedar Flats Dormitory. Work hours are specified as 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with exclusions on federal holidays unless coordinated otherwise. The contractor must ensure that all cleaning duties maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance across all facilities. Period of Performance The contract will have a base period of performance from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, with four additional option periods of one year each extending through April 30, 2031. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the Fenn Ranger Station located at 831 Selway Road, Kooskia, ID 83539. All buildings except the Cedar Flats Dormitory are situated at this location; the Cedar Flats Dormitory is located approximately ¾ mile east of the Fenn Ranger Station.
