Background The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking to procure 180 units of 45-gallon galvanized steel wire baskets for use with Broyhill Load & Pack. This procurement is part of OPRHP's mission to maintain and enhance the quality of parks and recreational facilities in New York State. The goal is to provide durable trash receptacles that can withstand outdoor conditions. Work Details The contractor will be required to supply 180 galvanized steel wire baskets, each with a capacity of 45 gallons. The specifications for these wire baskets are detailed in Attachment 1, which outlines the construction materials and dimensions necessary for compliance. The baskets must be delivered to various locations as specified in Attachment 2, which includes: - Bethpage State Park (12 units) - Heckscher State Park (25 units) - Nissequogue River State Park (8 units) - Robert Moses State Park (50 units) - Sunken Meadow State Park (50 units) - Valley Stream State Park (10 units) - Wildwood State Park (25 units). Upon delivery, the vendor must unload the wire baskets at each location. A freight bill will be required unless shipping is done via vendor vehicles, FedEx, or UPS. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be fulfilled within a specified timeframe following the receipt of order. Guaranteed delivery days are to be indicated by the vendor in their bid. Place of Performance Delivery locations include various state parks in Nassau and Suffolk counties, New York: - Bethpage State Park - Heckscher State Park - Nissequogue River State Park - Robert Moses State Park - Sunken Meadow State Park - Valley Stream State Park - Wildwood State Park. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with minimum qualifications evaluated on a pass/fail basis. They must also adhere to insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability Insurance with specific coverage limits. Additionally, bidders are required to provide proof of Workers' Compensation Insurance and Disability Benefits Insurance. Compliance with M/WBE goals may also be required if applicable.
