Background San Juan County is issuing a solicitation for the County Road 7900 Full Depth Reclamation project. The purpose of this contract is to engage a licensed contractor to pulverize approximately 5.4 miles of existing pavement on County Road 7900 in Nageezi, New Mexico. The county's mission is to maintain and improve its road infrastructure for the benefit of its residents and visitors. Work Details The contractor will be responsible solely for the pulverization of the existing roadway. San Juan County crews will handle the provision of any aggregate/base course, water, traffic control, and will complete the mixing, spreading, and compacting of the pulverized material. The work includes: - Mobilization (1 LS) - Full-Depth Reclamation (86,400 SY) The contractor must adhere to specifications outlined in attached documents including Exhibit A (road map) and Exhibit B (specifications). Period of Performance The contract period will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed within a specified number of calendar days as proposed by the bidder. Place of Performance The work will be performed on County Road 7900 in Nageezi, New Mexico. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide proof of registration with the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions if their bid exceeds $60,000. They are also required to submit a completed Contractor's Qualification Statement along with a list of three similar projects completed in the past five years. Additionally, bidders must include valid certificates for any resident contractor or veteran preferences they wish to claim.
