Background San Juan County is seeking proposals from qualified auditing firms approved by the New Mexico Office of the State Auditor for Audit Services of the San Juan County Finance Department. Work Details The selected firm will conduct audits in accordance with: - Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) - Codification of Statements on Auditing Standards (SAS) - 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance - AICPA Audit Guide - Other relevant guidelines. The firm must provide a detailed cost breakdown for services including: - Financial Statement Audit - Federal Single Audit - Blended Component Unit – Housing – Section 8 - Blended Component Unit – Criminal Justice Training Authority - Discretely Presented Component Unit – Communications Authority - Discretely Presented Component Unit – San Juan Water Commission. Additionally, the firm must submit a brief profile identifying staff assigned to the audit and provide at least four references from similar clients. Period of Performance The contract will be for an initial term of one year with the possibility of annual renewal for up to eight years total. Place of Performance Audit services will be performed for San Juan County Finance Department located in Aztec, New Mexico. Bidder Requirements Firms must be qualified and in good standing with the New Mexico Office of the State Auditor. They are required to possess a current license in New Mexico and maintain appropriate insurance coverage including General Liability, Auto, Workman’s Compensation, and Errors & Omissions Insurance. Additionally, firms must complete a Campaign Contribution Disclosure Form as part of their proposal submission.
