Background The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) is seeking to award a sole source contract to Parata Systems LLC for the provision of extended service agreements for ATP2 medication packaging machines utilized in various DHS pharmacies. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the continued operation and maintenance of these critical machines that package medications for individuals under the care of IDHS, thereby supporting the agency's mission to provide effective healthcare services. Work Details The contract will cover extended service agreements for nine ATP2 machines located at various facilities including Packard Mental Health Center, Ludeman Developmental Center, Elgin Mental Health Center, Murray Developmental Center, Chester Mental Health Center, Madden Mental Health Center, Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center, Alton Mental Health Center, and Chicago Read Mental Health Center. Each machine will receive annual maintenance which includes: - ATP2 Greater Than 192 (entire machine) Annual Maintenance - ATP Lower Packaging Unit (LPU) Annual Maintenance - Annual Software and Licensing The total value of the initial term of this contract is $163,995. Period of Performance The estimated contract will begin on July 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2027. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various locations across Illinois including multiple mental health centers and developmental centers as specified above. Bidder Requirements This contract is designated as a sole source due to the proprietary nature of the equipment and software associated with the ATP2 machines. Only Parata Systems LLC can provide maintenance and service without voiding warranties. The vendor must also comply with all applicable State and federal laws.
