Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood, Texas is issuing a SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to repair sustainment items in barracks while Soldiers are deployed. This includes but is not limited to walls, painting, ceiling fans, sinks, faucets, showerheads, tubs, toilet seals, cabinets, light fixtures, cover plates, surfaces repair to wall and floor. The work shall be located at Buildings 29019, 29020, 29021, and 29022, located at 166 N Pleiku Drive, Fort Hood, Texas. This acquisition is 100% Women Owned Certified Small Business Set Aside under NAICS 236220 (Size Standard $45.0 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The purpose of this project is to repair sustainment items in barracks while soldiers are deployed to include but not limited to walls, painting, ceiling fans, sinks, faucets, showerheads, tubs, toilet seals, cabinets, light fixtures, cover plates, surfaces repair to walls and floors. The work shall be located at Buildings 29019, 29020, 29021, and 29022, located at 166 N Pleiku Drive, Fort Hood, Texas. Also included is miscellaneous site work to support the facility and meet code requirements. The contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. All work under this contract will be performed within the confines of the Fort Hood Military Installation, at Fort Hood, TX. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: TX20260230 01/02/2026, Superseded General Decision Number: TX20250230; State: Texas; Construction Type: Building; County: Bell County in Texas, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. A organized site visit will be conducted for this procurement 24 March 2026 at 1:30 PM CDT. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation. Bid opening 16 April 2026 at 2:00 PM CDT and completing contract performance 210 days after contract award.
